Goodness Joy where do I start.

I was born in Germany to Ukrainian parents and came to Australia in 1950.
Then my little sister Lucia was born when I was almost 2 in Mildura. It was so very different then to what it is now and I must say I liked it back then.

We came to Melbourne (Ardeer) and Alexander was born, then my one wish on my 11th birthday was to have a little brother...my wish for this present came and his name is James, he was my live Ken doll, as was Alexander BUT James is all I ever wanted as a birthday present.

I remember being on the ship “Nellie” when we came to Australia as well as in the hostels, music was piped every where and I just loved it all ... I still sleep with albums playing via a pillow monitor.

I am married again and yes he is all I ever want of a husband ... Robert and I have been together for 20 years BUT just got married on 12th June 2007... I really thought once was enough but am not sorry at all now. We both love music and dancing and we both have children ... Robert has 4 boys all grown up and married and I have a daughter and a son.

I have been a DJ for around 19 years now and started off at WRB 974fm and then moved to WYN fm 88.9 about 5 or 6 years ago.

I love old time rock and my passion is country music but duets I “kill for” and I do love ballads. As a DJ I play all types of country from all over the world as well as Australian.

We love our Animals...Honey is a 12 year old Pomeranian, Sissy is a Chinchilla white cat and Mister Magoo is a Berman that I thank Deb Minter for as he is just so loving and dumb but in a lovable way, and we also have an Avery of all types of birds.

We both Robert and I love reading BUT not fiction and I do enjoy "WHO DONE IT MOVIES" and true to life ones as well. We garden and just enjoy the time we spend together. I have heaps of other interests but music is a passion with me and I do enjoy speaking and doing interviews and just reading with music in the back ground. Dolly Parton and Jim Reeves are my all time favorites .

Shell fish, pasta and rice are my all time favorite meals with fresh vegetables and I love all sorts of tropical fruits and my drink when I drink is a Japanese Slipper.

I cannot tell you any more Joy...I think I am just about writing a book except that I was born on 16th Feb 19??.
