My Bio

My name is Brian Amos and I am a presenter on Radio Eastern 98.1 in the outer East of Melbourne. Our studios are located in Croydon Victoria. I have been associated with radio and television for over 40 years.
When I retired I became a presenter at Radio Eastern 98.1 and for the past 14 years have presented 2 hours on independent country music on Friday afternoon. In the program I have a segment called "Country Music Profile where I interview an independent artist somewhere in Australia. Over the years I have interviewed artists before they signed to a label some of the artists include, Adam Brand, Beccy Cole, Melinda Schneider, Rita Schneider, Adam Harvey, Kevin King, Bill Chambers, Carter & Carter when they sang as 'Miray' and many more.
My program has a huge listening audience and I now find that artist’s publicists now ring me with the names of their artists for interviews.
I go to Tamworth each year and I am a Professional Member of the CMAA, the Australian Country Music Foundation, and an Associate Member of the Australian Bush Balladeers. I have and always will, promote new talent.
