Terry & Jenny

In 2005 their very successful debut album featured the single The Soldier With His Banjo which stormed into major music awards and national songwriting honours. Four out of the eight songs on the album either won awards or were finalists leaving no doubts about Terry and Jenny's abilities as songwriters.

It was being nominated and or winning so many awards, that by the time Jenny and Terry crossed the Nullabor to attend the 2006 CM festival it was a finalist in the 34th Annual CMAA Awards and the track was selected by EMI for The Winners Album.

Named in the finals of the Recorded Section TSA SE QLD Awards Old Love New Love produced another unique experience for the talented pair - Top Five Best Duo at the Tamworth Independent Artists TIARA Awards.

Now it will be interesting to see how many awards Songs Of Our Land delivers.

Terry & Jenny Bio Jenny spent her childhood years growing up in the W.A. wheat belt town of Wongan Hills. The daughter of a railway man and a singing mother, Jenny moved to Perth with her family at age eleven and later learnt the piano and also started singing. Jenny met Terry in Perth, married and they have four children. Terry was born and raised on a farm at Kendenup in the South West of Western Australia and at fifteen moved to Perth to start an electrical apprenticeship. Started playing the guitar at thirteen, joined a band at fifteen in Perth and played lead guitar and sang in bands for over twenty years. Terry & Jenny have now sold their Electrical Contracting business to travel Australia and write and perform their music. Terry & Jenny first performed together at the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival in 2002 and have been playing at Festivals and Country Music Venues since then.
