Steve Roberson – Bio
Texas native, Steve Roberson and songwriter, producer, and former Atlantic Records artist, Karen Tobin, team up for the release of Livin' on a Dirt Road. This enticing journey through classic country and danceable Texas swing is their third collaboration on the independent label Sunnyland Productions. As a teenager, Roberson discovered his love for singing Country Music. While singing became more of a hobby than a profession, his passion for the music can be heard through every note on this album. His first two recording projects, Radio Ranch and Gettin' it Right, began to satisfy his long time dream of becoming a recording artist. Slated for release in early 2010, Livin' on a Dirt Road is an enjoyable listening experience for all. The proceeds from all his recordings and performing projects benefit Easter Seals (www.easterseals.com) whose mission is to provide exceptional support for people living with autism and other disabilities. When he is not singing, Roberson is the Owner of Century 21 My Real Esate Company in Downey, California. A loving husband, father of two sons and grandfather of three, he is making sure to spread his love of music throughout the generations of his family.

When I starting listening to this CD I thought to myself how this can live up to how great Gettin' it Right was? Boy was I surprised. This hasn't left my car since I put it in. I am a huge fan of the "classic" country genre and this was right up my alley. Steve blends his passion for the classics, with enough modern elements to make this appealing to today's country listeners. I highly recommend picking this up and not putting it down.

Seldom has an artist arrived out of the blue to capture the essense of Country like Steve has in this album. Usually these kind of artist grow on you and you've heard about them through others. Steve just sneaks up on you and unloads a truckful of country on you in a way that keeps you coming back for more. If you listen between the notes you can hear the true heart of country, you can tell it is in his blood. You can tell country is in his veins...you can tell he is a native. This is my third Roberson CD and I am looking forward to #4. Keep 'em coming Steve!!! James Joseph California
