Anne Conway – Bio
Anne Conway has had a long and varied career in the Country Music Industry. She has travelled through much of Australia performing and also toured New Zealand with an Australian Showcase.

During the last twelve months Anne has been kept extremely busy performing at Festivals and Cultural Events as well as selected hotels and clubs. Anne has received finalist status in the 2004 Victorian Country Music Awards for the Female Vocal Section for her rendition of “But For The Grace Of God”
Anne’s latest (and best) album “I Am Australian” contains fourteen tracks – eleven of them Australian penned. Anne chose the material for this album based purely on the material she wanted to sing and the stories she wished to convey – she was not looking particularly at commercial appeal. Obviously she was on the right track because this album sales have already surpassed all her previous efforts.
Each January since 1991 Anne presented her own ten day showcase in Grace Bros Store in Tamworth where she showcases some of the best entertainers around as well performing herself. The 2003 Showcase was perhaps the best ever which was gratifying since it was also the last as Grace Bros closed it’s doors in Tamworth in June 2003. Anne is quite philosophical about this as “all things must end” and is just grateful she had the chance to do the show successfully for so long – in her own words she “went out on a high”.
Anne’s repertoire is not restricted to country music, she plays a good cross section of popular music and can work with a resident band or is fully self contained with her custom made backing, guitar and sound system.
These days due to a combination of a busy lifestyle and sometimes fragile health, Anne does not maintain a heavy performing schedule. In spite of this she does perform professionally quite often and is particularly committed to performing at events such as Relay For Life and other such causes where she has the opportunity to help others as she herself has ben helped in the past.
